BFKmusic grew out of BFKbooks and our need to expand into new areas, in this case music!
Naomi - Vicky and David's daughter, who is a young adult with autism, loves music of all sorts - especially Abba, The Beatles and Roxette, and taught herself to play bass guitar. She'd put on a cd, plug her bass in to her amplifier and of she went in to a world of music and bass playing. She actually became really good at it and was on the point of joining a band, when she was diagnosed at the age of 28 in 2000 (after a short mental illness) with being on the autistic spectrum. Her love of music is still there and as a family we love a wide variety of styles and here that is what we will do - review music cds and interview artists wherever possible.
We now have a team of reviewers and between us we aim to please and look forward to you joining us on our journey into the world of music.
